Don't know when

In any normal administration, it would be remarkable that, having started with promises that tariffs would solve all our economic ills and (consumer) prices would drop “on Day 1”, the Kleptocrat and his henchmen are now at the point that they are telling us that we need to develop a “shared sacrifice” to get through the disruption that we’re about to experience in the supply chain.

In this regime, this turnabout is just Wednesday.

However, that’s where we are. I have my doubts that people who refused to wear a face mask during a global pandemic because “mah rights” and who got into fistfights in Walmart over toilet paper will fancy sacrificing anything for any reason, and they sure as hell don’t want to share anything. So I guess we’ll see how that goes.

Meanwhile, since we just marked the 80th anniversary of the defeat of one pack of Nazis, let’s have a song from that era for today’s earworm. What better than Vera Lynn singing “We’ll Meet Again”. It is once again applicable.
