You just can't make this stuff up

'Kay, this is just too good to let lie.

From today’s Washington Post:
"President Bush said yesterday that he gave up golfing in 2003 'in solidarity' with the families of soldiers who were dying in Iraq, concluding that it was "just not worth it anymore" to play the sport in a time of war."

The guy who wouldn't speak with Cindy Sheehan for weeks while on vacation (weeks more, BTW, than the average American worker--not to mention the average GI--receives from his employer) is concerned that parents of soldiers might be upset if they saw him playing golf?

Words absolutely fail me.

I wonder what the locals would feed Mugabe if he came to town?
