I’m not entirely sure
how to categorize today’s Advent offering. I mean, it’s Christmas music, no issue
there. But it’s not praise, or a lullaby, or rejoicing…
Moreover, I can’t find
anything out about it. Google has ceased to be my friend here.
"Mary Was the Queen of Galilee" is from the African
American tradition, and it strikes me as...mournful. And that’s all I got.
