On Fridays I tend to cry “whaaaa?” and let loose the dogs
of loopiness on this blog. But I was driving down El Camino Real this morning
when NPR’s Friday morning feature “Story Corps” came on. I had to pull over to
concentrate on the exchange between Peter Obetz and Jeff Jarrett, as they
talked about their friendship.
Do yourself a favor and listen to the clip. I mean,
really listen to their voices. This is literally one of the most heartening
things I’ve heard this week, and I’m doing you a service by sharing it.
"Our friendship is the only thing that's constant." Damn.
