Since I’ve been on a
historical rampage, let me share something with you. I came across this in my
Twitter feed—a letter to the Telegraph in 1913. In it, one Bertha Brewster
summarizes the whole Woman Suffrage issue, as well as offering the only two
possible solutions, in a total of 56 words (including salutation and closing):
Two thoughts on this:
1) She was right.
2) Who’s gonna argue
with someone named Bertha Brewster?
