The South Bay area has a considerable number of
Asian residents. Sunnyvale must be full of South Asians, because you can’t walk
six yards without running into an Indian restaurant, sari shop or snack joint.
If you go by the numbers of Chinese markets,
restaurants and acupuncturists, Cupertino would seem to be an outpost of Fujian
province.
